Friday 02 Dec 2011
One of the most coveted accolades in motoring journalism, the PFPR Editor of the Year Award, has been won by Tom Evans, Managing Editor of MSN Cars.
Chairman of PFPR Communications, Peter Frater, presented Tom with the trophy on 1 December at the annual Guild of Motoring Writers Awards and Dinner at the Royal Automobile Club on Pall Mall, London.
In front of an audience of more than 200 of the automotive industry’s movers and shakers, including guest of honour Sir Jackie Stewart and his wife Lady Helen, the judges described the MSN Cars managing editor Tom as “a real straight shooter with a good eye for a story.”
This is the second year that PFPR, Europe’s number one automotive PR and events agency, has sponsored the Editor’s award. The 2010 winner was Nick Trott, Editor of Evo magazine.
